Soo today in class we watch à video on
how the troops lifes are when they return home.
It's really sad to know that people
who is serving us can get trumitize and
get panic problems. It's also really sad to know
that if they see a kid with a gun they have
to kill the kid because either one
of the. Has to die.0ur soilders pass through so many
difficulties.

The Immigrant's Poem
I miss my wife and children, I know you'd be the same,
humans need their families, they're worth much more than fame.
I want to work and pay my way, to be the same as you,
all I ask in return, is respect from just a few.
I had to leave my homeland, my children and my wife,
to find a safer place to live, and to save my life.
What you take for granted we are not allowed,
we must say things quietly, while you can shout out loud.
You can walk for miles on end, without the need for fear,
I just want to do the same and to bring my family here.
Until you get to know me, don't make a song and dance,
try to learn who I am, just give me a change.
Before you make a judgment try to understand,
I come for your democracy, not to steal your land.
I do not ask for sympathy, just a friendly ear,
to listen to my troubles and help me bring some cheer.
If you've listen to all I've told you, you should now clearly see,
First I am a human being, who wants to live in peace.
humans need their families, they're worth much more than fame.
This is a poem I wrote for my project what talks about the iimigrants life and how the feel when they are being judged for no reason or when they are being seperated from their families.
